There is a organization that is based in Canada that is involved in coin collecting and support of Canadians that seek to become involved in coin and currency collection.

It is called the Royal Canadian Numismatic Association, and it is a non profit association for coin collection and for people that are interested in Canada in the hobby of numismatics. It has international members that are located around the world but it was created to deal with citizens from Canada primarily.

It began first in 1950 and it is a not for profit group that is affiliated with the Numismatic Educational Association, which is another organization in Canada that is a charitable and educational organization.

The Royal Canadian Numismatic Association works to support education about money and currency, and is involved in a number of programs to support people who want to become involved in the collection of coins and currency.

It was founded in 1950 and supports a bilingual logo, and also a kit for young people who first want to be involved in the hobby. The group established a literary award to encourage people to write in the club newsletter, to compose and write articles for the support of the coin collection and
numismatic hobby.

They support an annual convention, and in 2007 they changed the name to the Royal Canadian Numismatic Association, by permission from the British Royal Family and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II during that year.

It is an overall organization that gives support, one of their focusing issues is sponsoring of educational seminars, and their support for a correspondence course.

The course is called the Canadian Numismatic Correspondence course, and it teaches people about the hobby, and is quite detailed in scope.
